Collections Specialist

A global company is hiring a Collections Specialist to join its Revenue Operations team in the Phoenix area. This is a hybrid opportunity offering strong stability, collaborative culture, and exposure to complex client billing environments.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections who enjoys working cross-functionally with internal teams while helping drive timely payments and resolve billing challenges.

• Manage assigned accounts and oversee the full collections process, including reviewing aging reports and prioritizing follow-up activity
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice questions, disputes, and payment delays
• Submit invoices through electronic billing platforms and monitor rejections or adjustments
• Analyze account activity, reconcile balances, and research payment discrepancies
• Apply payments, retainers, and adjustments accurately within financial systems
• Maintain detailed collection notes and provide reporting on receivables performance
• Support audits, reconciliations, and special revenue-related projects

• 3+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, billing, or revenue operations
• Background in professional services, legal, consulting, healthcare, insurance, or similar industries preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
• Solid analytical ability and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Excel and financial systems; experience with enterprise billing platforms is a plus
