We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our team in the Accounting and Finance industry. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including financial planning and management of accounting operations. Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
2. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, CFO and other executive management team members.
3. Supervise the investment and raising of funds to meet ongoing operational requirements and future growth expectations.
4. Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.
5. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
6. Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met.
7. Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with approved external auditor.
8. Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
9. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
10. Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. An MBA, CPA or equivalent is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, ideally in the manufacturing sector.
3. Knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
4. Proven experience in financial reporting, budget variance, and variance analysis.
5. Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting and audit procedures.
6. Exceptional leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing a team.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
11. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
12. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
