Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Overview

Our Central Scottsdale client is seeking an Interim Corporate Controller for a minimum of 4 months – could be as long as 8 months; need is immediate.

• Review account reconciliations and provide support to accounting team (direct reports consist of a Director of Accounting, Senior Manager of Cash Management and a Director of Accounts Receivable).
• Complete variance analysis at the end of each reporting period.
• Oversee and assume complete responsibility for the company’s annual audit.
• Collaborate with and provide whatever support may be required for accounting leaders of foreign entities primarily to ensure that statutory audits are moving forward
• Review work of / provide quality overview of cash management functions; cash forecast model, movement of cash among entities, etc. – processes and models are documented and working effectively.
• Draft financial statements and update related footnotes.

• Must Have – Strong experience in managing teams and serving as a Controller preferably at a company in the technology industry.
• Experience taking full responsibility for the conduct of external audits.
