Your leadership will directly influence how transformation investments are planned, governed, and optimized, ensuring every dollar spent contributes to improved productivity, efficiency, and long-term shareholder value. You will report directly to our IT Director of Transformation Office and Governance, and you’ll work out of one of our Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC locations on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Lead financial governance across transformation programs, managing budget planning, forecasting, actuals tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Drive disciplined benefit realization management, ensuring defined financial outcomes are achieved, measured, and reported through standardized dashboards.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and Business leadership to develop and maintain investment portfolios, ensuring alignment between program funding and strategic priorities.
  • Establish and manage the financial controls, cost tracking mechanisms, and reporting cadence required for transparent and accountable program delivery.
  • Provide financial insights to senior executives, including ROI, payback, and TCO analyses to guide strategic decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with program and portfolio leaders to align budget allocations, resource utilization, and benefit targets with transformation milestones.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics, financial KPIs, and dashboards to communicate program health, cost performance, and value realization to governance boards.
  • Support the Transformation Office in identifying financial risks, managing contingencies, and recommending corrective actions to ensure delivery within budget and scope.
  • Contribute to the institutionalization of best‑in‑class financial governance practices, leveraging automation, analytics, and AI‑driven forecasting tools.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT program or portfolio management, with a focus on financial governance, cost management, and benefits realization.
  • Proven success managing multi‑million‑dollar transformation budgets within large, complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Technology program financial structures, including CAPEX/OPEX classification and program cost allocation models.
  • Deep expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and value measurement frameworks tied to transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical delivery metrics into clear financial and business outcomes for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and managing benefit realization frameworks that link program KPIs to financial performance and shareholder value.
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or equivalent for financial reporting and variance analysis.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to influence decision‑making across Finance, IT, and Business leadership teams.
We Value
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Systems.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA/CFA.
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense, manufacturing, or other capital‑intensive industries.
  • Background in Value Realization Management (VRM) or enterprise benefits tracking tools.
  • Experience with AI‑enabled financial analytics or predictive forecasting models.
