Senior Manager Cost Accounting

We are seeking a senior finance leader to oversee operational accounting and cost-related activities within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role serves as a key business partner to operations, providing financial visibility into production performance, cost drivers, and operational efficiency. The position combines strategic analysis with hands‑on financial leadership, supporting data‑driven decision making and continuous process improvement.

Hybrid role based in the Phoenix, AZ area.

• Provide financial leadership across operational and production‑related activities
• Monitor cost performance, analyze variances, and identify trends impacting profitability
• Partner closely with operations and cross‑functional teams to improve cost efficiency and performance visibility
• Support inventory, product costing, and operational financial reporting processes
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Develop reporting and insights for senior leadership to support strategic decisions
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and operational best practices
• Support month‑end close activities related to operational results
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across production environments

• 7+ years of progressive experience in cost, operational, or manufacturing finance
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a hands‑on approach
• Experience working in ERP‑driven environments and advanced Excel proficiency
• Ability to partner cross‑functionally and communicate financial insights to leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced credentials a plus
