Financial Analyst

Qualifications

We’re excited to meet candidates who bring:

• 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred)
• Public accounting experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Background in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

As our Financial Analyst, you will:

• Support the development and execution of the annual budget
• Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget
• Prepare and present Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) reports for senior leadership
• Assist with monthly forecasting and performance reporting
• Build and maintain pricing models, promotional spend analytics, and sales forecasts
• Track variable product costs and report on gross margin and contribution margin
• Forecast and monitor compensation, commissions, and bonus structures
• Track and analyze financial and non‑financial KPIs
• Develop routine and ad hoc data-driven reports, including cost analyses
• Support additional financial projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager

Technical Skills

You will excel in this role if you bring:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong experience with accounting information systems
• Advanced data mining and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of report writing software
• Solid understanding of cost accounting and GAAP principles
• Basic knowledge of internal controls
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to both financial and non‑financial audiences
