As part of the Tech

24 network, the Billing Specialist is a key member of our service operations team, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing for our customers. This role supports technicians, dispatch, and leadership by processing invoices, verifying work orders, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining clear communication with customers regarding charges. The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining smooth financial operations while contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

• Process a high volume of service calls into invoices for payment per agreed upon rates and procedures
• Prepare and submit invoices and supporting documentation to the customer via mail, email and third‑party websites
• Verify billing accounts with accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Generate reports detailing billing status of service calls
• Communicate with individuals in a variety of positions, both internal and external to the company participate in special projects

• 1-3 years of billing experience (service industry experience preferred)
• Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfortable working with finance software, Microsoft Office, and data entry systems
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive, problem‑solving attitude

The advertised pay range for this position is $21-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and market conditions.
