We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of FP&A for our client to lead financial planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis across the organization. This role will serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, providing data‑driven insights to support decision‑making, long‑term strategy, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of financial acumen, leadership capability, and business partnership experience in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead company‑wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes
- Develop and deliver executive‑level financial reporting, dashboards, and variance analysis
- Partner closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and resource allocation
- Provide insights on revenue, margin, operating expenses, and cash flow performance
- Own financial modeling for new initiatives, investments, and scenario planning
- Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and systems
- Ensure financial assumptions are aligned with business strategy and operational plans
- Manage and develop a high‑performing FP&A team
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Accounting, Finance, HR, Sales, and Operations
- Support Board and investor presentations, as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A leadership
- Proven experience partnering with executive leadership
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and performance management
- Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise (Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion, or similar)
- Experience working in complex or high‑growth environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and scale teams
- Experience supporting private equity–backed or public companies
- Experience with M&A financial modeling and integration support
- CPA, CFA, or MBA
- High‑impact role with executive visibility
