The Adecco Group is seeking a detail-oriented Budget and Grant Accountant to support financial operations across the organization. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams to manage budgets, ensure grant compliance, and maintain accurate financial reporting. What

You'll Do
  • Manage and monitor the organizational annual budget, partnering with departments to develop and scale program budgets
  • Analyze monthly budget variances and work with teams to develop timely resolutions
  • Submit accurate, compliant invoices and financial reports for federal, state, foundation, and donor-funded grants
  • Maintain real-time budget tracking tools and interpret financial data for both finance and non-finance audiences
  • Support the annual Financial Statement and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) audit, including SEFA preparation and auditor communications
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure adherence to GAAP and grant compliance standards
  • Serve as the primary financial point of contact for sub-grantees and conduct fiscal monitoring as needed
  • Develop financial reporting for donor proposals across major gifts, corporate, and foundation funding streams
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in budgeting, compliance, or financial reporting, preferably in a nonprofit or government-funded environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger management, and federal grant regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; experience with accounting or donor databases is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
