Loan Administrator (Commercial Lending)
As a Loan Operations Administrator in the Warehouse Lending group, you'll document, negotiate, and close various types of warehouse lending transactions. In this role you'll draft and/or review basic legal documents, contracts, and correspondence, and direct outside counsel in connection with the documentation of warehouse lending and MSR transactions.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Loan Operations Team Lead in processing loan requests prepared by Lending Origination Officers. Prepare loan packages for review by Documentation, Compliance and the Lending Origination Officer. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure loan submissions comply with bank policies and procedures, and that completed loan documentation is accurate and properly maintained.
- Preparing the submission of files for boarding, including disbursements of loan proceeds; ensures all fees are properly and fully collected ures follow up on post-closing exceptions and receipt of original signed document.
- Monitoring tickler files for accounts; ensures credit inquires and UCC filings are researched to determine credit worthiness and appropriate collateral positioning are achieved.
Requirements include:
- 1+ years of related experience in Loan Administration, Lending and/or Deposit Sales, or similar field.
- High school diploma required.
- Loan administration experience within commercial lending is highly preferred.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Knowledge of one or more loan types.
- Proficient in multi-tasking in a team oriented environment and focused on the highest standards of client service.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
