PHI Health is looking for a dynamic, driven individual to join our Finance & Accounting team as a Financial Analyst. You will play a crucial role in orchestrating the seamless operations that keep our advanced fleet soaring and our patients safe.

The Financial Analyst compiles data, prepares advanced financial analyses, and interprets results to support the present and forecasted financial health of the company and drive business performance improvement.

• Develop and recommend financial solutions to optimize performance and improve operational and financial reporting.
• Prepare analyses relevant to the business unit, such as NSA specific and overall revenue analytics, flight volume and trend analysis, and monthly P&L variance analysis.
• Assist in decision‑making by establishing and reporting relevant KPIs and timely forecasts.
• Present and report current financial status on an ad‑hoc, daily, weekly, and monthly basis to executive leadership and other business leaders and customers.
• Collaborate with management on the development and execution of funding strategies and resourcing requirements.
• Review monthly reports to provide variance analysis to Operations and other leadership teams.
• Prepare and present project‑management reporting, including variance analysis, and communicate financial status and issues.
• Manage the preparation and publication of departmental, organizational, and customer financial documents.
• Assist with requests and follow‑up for various internal/external audits.
• Oversee monthly activities such as loading data into the system, producing weekly/monthly reporting, and other related tasks.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Financial Planning & Analysis team.

• Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis with foundational accounting skills.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting; MBA a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in a financial or accounting function with exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems and technology‑driven applications (One Stream a plus, but not required).
• Strong business and financial acumen with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize, organize, and manage time independently to meet deadlines.
• Critical thinking mindset; proactive initiative to manage exposure and maximize success opportunities for the department and the organization.
• Strong focus on continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and overall technology‑savvy skillset.
• Position is designated Safety‑Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
