Business Banking Specialist – Scottsdale Road & 101/Phoenix (AZ)

We are hiring an experienced Business Banking Specialist to join our Arizona community bank branch. As a team player, you will help clients achieve their financial goals.

• Contact, manage, and grow existing non‑portfolio business relationships across branches.
• Originate small‑business loans, deposits, Treasury Management/Select, and Merchant solutions.
• Identify, develop, and follow up on prospective business leads within the market.
• Conduct needs assessments and proactive follow‑up using Salesforce.
• Perform full‑service banking for new and existing customers, emphasizing sales and service.
• Handle new consumer accounts and loans as required.
• Resolve client concerns through direct action or referrals to appropriate bank departments.
• Make referrals for other bank products, including commercial lending services.

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of banking and/or business development experience.
• Strong sales, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of business banking services: loans, deposits, TM, Merchant Services, credit cards.
• Ability to interview business customers and prospects to provide needs‑based solutions.
• Previous experience in a financial sales representative role preferred.
• Working knowledge of mathematical calculations and standard banking products, services, and transactions.
• Basic knowledge of business and consumer lending applications.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Effective selling, cross‑selling, and referral skills.
• Solid mathematical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Salesforce familiarity highly recommended.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM (40 hrs/week).
