POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst – Revenue Assurance holds a critical role in the company, focused on assessing the portfolio for opportunities to identify and resolve revenue leakage. This position plays an important lead role in driving change and is responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing effective improvement processes and procedures. The Senior Financial Analyst – Revenue Assurance works with field business partners and corporate leadership to promote financial‑based insights and ideas that support all company growth initiatives.
PRINCIPALRESPONSIBILITIES
- Portfolio Assessment:
Conduct evaluation of company’s portfolio to identify areas of revenue leakage. - Framework Enhancement:
Develop and implement strategies and systems to improve identification and resolution of revenue assurance opportunities. This may involve creating reports, tools, or analytics to monitor revenue streams and detect anomalies. - Process Design and Documentation:
Design and document robust processes related to revenue management and financial insights. - Collaboration:
Work closely with various stakeholders, including field business partners and revenue management leadership to gain insight into opportunities and align revenue management strategies to broader company goals. - Financial Insight:
Provide finance‑based insights and ideas that support the company’s growth initiatives and pricing strategies. - Perform other job‑related duties as assigned or apparent.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced charting, connecting to databases and cubes (Power Query/Power Pivot), macros and SQL. Excellent communication skills. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to aggregate and organize large quantities of data from multiple sources to determine solutions. Waste industry experience or experience working in a subscription‑based industry. Ability to apply the concepts and principles of finance to business application.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience with revenue assurance, revenue management, finance, accounting, auditing, billing, pricing, or related experience.
LOCATION & RESTRICTIONSIn‑office position in Phoenix, Arizona. Must reside in the metro Phoenix area. This role is not eligible for employment sponsorship.
