Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

Vaco is seeking a senior financial analyst for a manufacturing client in West Phoenix.

• Contribute to annual budgeting efforts and build forecasts from operational inputs
• Review and interpret performance metrics such as staffing levels, productivity, overtime usage, waste, and inventory trends
• Conduct detailed variance and cost analyses to uncover patterns and improvement areas
• Work closely with site leadership to gain operational insight and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Monitor short-term performance (daily/weekly) and help track progress against targets
• Create customized reports and assist in preparing materials for leadership review
• Proactively identify ways to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance forecast reliability
• Assist with financial planning activities and maintain adherence to internal controls
• Partner with teams across finance and operations to support shared objectives

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Required)
• 3-5 years of FP&A experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI), and ERP software
• Understanding of manufacturing cost structures, capital expenditures, and inventory management
• Ability to go on site 5 days a week
• Salary: $110-115k plus bonus
