About the Role
The Account Manager supports the Banking Practice within Wealth Management and is an integral member of the team, helping to enhance existing client relationships, support new relationships, and contribute to the ultimate success of Wealth Management. The successful candidate will provide the Banking Advisors and lending team with support for a variety of items, including client development and relationship management, loan documentation coordination, loan closings, due diligence and underwriting for credit facilities, and other related transactions.
Responsibilities- Coordinate loan documentation and loan closings and conduct due diligence for a variety of credit facilities and related transactions.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the team, assisting in monitoring financial covenants, financial reporting, reviewing third‑party reports and loan documents, and completing ad‑hoc assignments.
- Respond to client inquiries, produce reports, and oversee transaction processing.
- Assist Private Bankers in business development by creating client presentations and coordinating with the servicing team.
- Resolve operational or processing issues and help drive additional depository and treasury business with new and existing clients.
- Work with Banking Advisors, clients, and, when necessary, outside legal counsel to coordinate the creation and review of legal documents for loan transactions.
- Develop deep knowledge of loan documentation and internal protocols regarding loan documentation.
- Book loans efficiently on the system in coordination with other internal departments.
- Develop action plans for client servicing and coordinate with other team members across disciplines to ensure execution and follow‑up.
- Serve as a resource for the relationship servicing team for highly complex WM relationships.
- Understand clients’ needs behind service requests and communicate to service partners.
- Identify service efficiency enhancements, process improvements, and service delivery opportunities.
- Work with the Lending team to develop an understanding of credit underwriting protocols to assist the banking team with coordination and review of loan underwriting.
- Communicate with clients regularly to inform them of account set‑up or status, overdrafts, document requests, or other information.
- 5+ years’ experience or equivalent in financial servicing/accounting fields with a client servicing background.
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
- Knowledge of internal banking functions.
- Analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
In‑office position located at 2398 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix, 85016. The role requires on‑site duties four of the five workdays per week.
