Accounting Manager

BCS Finance is partnering with a growing private equity-backed services company seeking an Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This role will oversee a team of 3, lead the accounting and reporting function, and support FP&A and M&A initiatives as the company continues to grow through acquisitions

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a team of 3 accounting professionals
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee financial reporting and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integrations
• Partner with leadership on strategic finance initiatives and process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4-8 years of progressive accounting experience
• Private equity portfolio company experience required
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• CPA is a plus
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Exposure to M&A transactions and FP&A activities preferred
