Brief Description

PING, Inc. is seeking a Credit Manager that will be responsible for leading all credit operations across PING. This role serves as the strategic leader for Credit, accountable for credit policy, risk governance, systems, reporting, and long‑range modernization. The Credit Manager provides enterprise-level direction for how credit is extended, managed, and governed, while ensuring alignment with profitable growth, customer relationships, and overall financial health.

This position plays a critical role in shaping Credit department operations through data‑driven decision‑making, cross‑functional partnership, and long‑term roadmap development. The position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area; relocation assistance will be provided.

You Will
  • Lead all credit operations, including credit strategy, policy, risk governance, and future‑state design.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise credit policies, approval standards, credit limits, and payment terms.
  • Provide strategic oversight of credit risk and mitigation strategies across all customer segments.
  • Serve as final escalation point for complex credit decisions, exceptions, and high‑risk accounts.
  • Manage the Credit and Collections team, providing clear expectations, coaching, accountability, and performance management.
  • Ensure strong alignment between credit strategy and collections execution across the organization.
  • Serve as the business owner for all credit‑related systems, tools, data definitions, and reporting structures.
  • Partner with ERP Development, IT, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and scalable credit operations.
  • Define, monitor, and communicate enterprise‑level credit KPIs, portfolio health metrics, and trend analysis to leadership.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to align credit governance with customer growth, relationship management, and market dynamics.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations related to credit risk and operational performance.
  • Oversee all B2B and B2C payment processing and fraud protection frameworks, including defining ecommerce risk tolerance, managing fraud detection tools (e.g., Appruvd), and serving as the business owner for payment gateway configurations and controls (e.g., Braintree), in partnership with Ecommerce, Finance, and IT.
  • Develop and maintain a multi‑year roadmap for modernization, automation, and continuous improvement of Credit.
  • Stay current on industry best practices in B2B credit management, controls, compliance, and risk governance.
You Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management or Accounting from an accredited college or university, plus 5 years’ credit operations or equivalent experience, two of which in a manager of people role; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, collaboration and team skills with the ability to gain consensus.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to operate effectively at both enterprise and operational levels.
  • Proven leader who influences through accountability, collaboration, and cross‑functional partnership.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities to support sound decision‑making.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex credit, risk, and business topics to executive, internal, and customer audiences.
  • High proficiency with credit and collections systems, ERP platforms, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, and execute work accurately in a fast‑paced environment with competing demands.
  • Demonstrated broad‑based knowledge of PING product offerings. Capable of and interested in continuous learning primarily focused on the business, customer service techniques and products sold at PING.
