Job Summary Grant Consultant / Grant Specialist

• Provide comprehensive management and financial oversight for state and federally funded grant programs at the Arizona Division of Emergency Management (AZDEMA).
• Manage awarded grant projects from initiation through closeout, including financial tracking and reimbursement processing.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal grant regulations and reporting requirements.
• Perform financial reviews, support audits, and maintain accurate grant documentation.
• Assist emergency management staff and grant applicants in preparing and submitting grant applications.
• Serve as a point of contact for financial and administrative inquiries related to grants.
• Requires 4+ years of financial experience, including billing, auditing, and expense tracking, with hands‑on grant administration experience.
• Must have strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and proficiency in financial reporting.
• On‑site position in Phoenix, AZ; local candidates only; no travel required.
• Background check and drug screening required; must be eligible for conversion to full‑time employment.
