  • Oversee foreign tax credit planning, tracking and reporting processes to maximize partner tax benefits and support compliance objectives.
  • Lead withholding tax strategy, including treaty benefit claims, residency certification processes, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to reduce global withholding tax exposure.
Skills & Attributes for Success
  • Direct review of engagement agreements, statements of work, and other commercial arrangements to identify and mitigate international tax, withholding tax, and permanent establishment risks.
  • Develop policies, governance processes, and monitoring programs related to cross‑border travel and service delivery activities to minimize tax risk for partners and personnel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation or equivalent experience;
    Master’s Degree in Tax or MBA a plus.
  • Minimum of ten years of individual and expatriate taxation experience, preferably managing a population of 500 or more expatriates/foreign nationals.
  • Experience leading U.S. tax planning and structuring for global acquisitions, reorganizations, business transformations, and strategic initiatives undertaken by EY US LLP and EY Global.
  • Oversee financial modeling and forecasting activities related to EYGS partner distributions and other international tax planning initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, enhanced data management, technology enablement, and automation of international tax operations.
What We Offer You
  • A comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $200,000 to $396,000 across the U.S., and higher ranges for selected metro areas. Total Rewards includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off.
  • A hybrid model that expects most client‑serving roles to work in‑person about 60% of the time.
  • A flexible vacation policy that lets you decide how much time you need, with additional time for EY Paid Holidays, winter/summer breaks, personal/family care, and other leaves.
