Credit Analyst, Risk Manager/Analyst, Underwriter, Financial Analyst
About the Role
Analyses and evaluates customer credit information for new and renewal C&I and CRE credit requests, including working capital lines of credit, asset‑based lines of credit, commercial real estate loans (owner occupied and investor) and equipment financing. Works with Commercial Portfolio Managers, Client Solutions Managers (CSMs) and Commercial Relationship Managers to prepare timely, high‑quality and concise credit recommendations that support credit approval and meet customer needs.
Key responsibilities include:
analyzing business, industry, and financial data; presenting facts to senior staff; identifying key business and financial risks; developing quantitative components of the underwriting narrative; applying dual risk rating models; ensuring compliance with all bank policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations; coding loans correctly; monitoring borrower performance against loan documents; coordinating borrower notifications and approvals; participating in customer and prospect calls; identifying opportunities for relationship expansion;
and continuing to develop technical and regulatory knowledge.
Minimum 2‑4 years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience or equivalent.
Skills and Qualifications- Intermediate accounting skills and knowledge.
- Proficient at spreading company and personal financial statements, including income tax returns, using Moody’s Risk Analyst or comparable tools.
- Experience analyzing and monitoring commercial lines of credit, term loans (both secured and unsecured), income property real estate, non‑profit lending, or other specialty lending types.
- Effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams to manage internal and external customer relationships.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal (presentation) skills.
- Familiarity with bank credit policies, procedures, practices and documentation.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related business software.
Occasional travel may be required.
Salary Range$62,000.00 – $, with additional performance‑based incentive compensation.
Primary Location404 N Main Street, Phoenix, OR 97535 (full‑time on‑site).
