Ledgestone Hospitality is seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to lead the financial operations of our growing hotel management platform. Reporting directly to the President and Chief Financial Officer, this executive will oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and compliance functions across a diverse portfolio of branded and independent hotels.

Position OverviewThe Vice President of Finance is responsible for the overall financial leadership of the organization, overseeing both corporate and property-level accounting operations. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls, manages cash flow and treasury functions, and provides strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and property operations. The successful candidate will possess extensive hospitality finance experience, a deep understanding of USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry), and a proven ability to build processes that support a growing multi-property organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all financial and accounting operations across a multi-property hotel portfolio.
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the President, CFO, and executive leadership team.
- Develop financial strategies that support company growth and long-term profitability.
- Evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and owner returns.
- Build and mentor a high-performing accounting and finance team.
- Oversee all month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP and USALI.
- Review and analyze balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules.
- Oversee general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions.
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies across all managed properties.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across the portfolio.
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
- Analyze financial performance, operating trends, and key performance indicators.
- Research and explain budget variances while recommending corrective actions.
- Support strategic planning, acquisitions, transitions, and other corporate initiatives.
- Manage corporate cash flow and banking relationships.
- Monitor liquidity and oversee intercompany cash transfers.
- Coordinate annual audits and tax reporting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Oversee sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Prepare monthly owner reporting packages.
- Partner closely with hotel General Managers and Operations leaders to improve financial performance.
- Support lender reporting and ownership requests.
- Assist with due diligence for acquisitions, new management opportunities, and portfolio growth initiatives.
- Lead special financial projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, including significant hospitality finance experience.
- Multi-property hotel accounting experience is required.
- Previous leadership experience within a hotel management company, hotel ownership group, REIT, or hospitality organization.
- Strong working knowledge of USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry).
- Thorough understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and internal controls.
- Experience managing annual audits and external financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Sage Intacct, M3, or comparable hospitality accounting systems.
