As a Budget Analyst, you will oversee and manage the agency's budgetary functions, ensuring compliance and fiscal responsibility. You will be instrumental in preparing, analyzing, and delivering comprehensive budget reports, supporting contract planning, and managing financial activities. This role offers a hybrid schedule with the flexibility of working three days from home and two days in the office.

• Administer and monitor budgetary functions, including appropriations, revenues, and expenditures.
• Prepare and deliver monthly budget and revenue reports.
• Support contract planning and administration.
• Manage annual and new-program budget requests and financial activities.
• Submit deliverables for the State Budget process and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with financial statements audit and prepare related documentation.
• Monitor legislative impacts on the Lottery budget and financials.

• Proficiency in budget procedures and techniques.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to interpret complex budget structures and regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Experience with Accounts Payable.
• Knowledge of the Arizona Procurement Portal & Arizona Budget System.
