Payroll Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage the execution of key payroll operations, ensure precise tax documentation, and maintain accurate employee records. In this role, you will play a critical part in processing payments, balancing deductions, and delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and leadership to support a seamless payroll function.

This role is in Phoenxi, but is primarily remote. The employee would need to work onsite a few days per month.

• Process and issue payments of wages/fees for domestic salaried and hourly employees
• Reconcile all payroll data, including all earnings, deductions, garnishments, and taxes.
• Coordinate with domestic, internal and external departments for payroll changes and ancillary activity.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports, including all matters of payroll
• Prepare quarterly payroll reports, including Workers Compensation and United Way contributions.
• Assists the Payroll Manager, Payroll Supervisor, Auditors and employees with inquiries and research matters.
• Responsible for domestic year-end processing and W2 tax filing.
