Consumer Finance Associate (Mid - Senior Level

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, is hiring a full‑time mid‑level Associate in the Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice. Eligible locations include Miami, DC, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix, or Dallas.

Greenberg Traurig’s Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice comprises over 80 attorneys throughout the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. The firm’s global platform positions it to address the needs of both domestic and international clients across a broad range of industries.

• 3‑5 years of experience in financial services regulatory and compliance, particularly in mortgage lending and servicing, consumer finance, commercial finance, alternative lending products such as buy‑now‑pay‑later (BNPL) and earned‑wage‑access (EWA) products, and Fin Tech products and structures.
• Significant experience with state licensing and knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations, including TILA, RESPA, UDAAP/UDAP, HMDA, FCRA, and FDCPA.
• Enforcement experience is a plus, as is experience with money services businesses and payment systems.
• Strong academic background with excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to take on significant responsibility, strong commitment to client service, proactive and team oriented.
• Must be admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.

The Associate will work with clients from a variety of industries, large and small, across the country, applying statutory knowledge and regulatory expertise to deliver client‑focused solutions.
