CBRE M&A Senior Manager

As a CBRE M&A Senior Manager, you will lead diligence and integration on small to medium complexity transactions and provide support on higher complexity deals. Within the M&A Diligence & Integration function, you will help connect due diligence findings to the deal thesis, support integration and separation planning, and keep transactions moving with rigor and discipline. This is a hands-on deal leadership role with a clear path toward owning increasingly complex transactions over time.

This job is part of the Mergers & Acquisitions function, responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A transactions to drive corporate growth. This role offers the flexibility to work from any CBRE office within the United States.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead confirmatory due diligence, integration and separation planning, and execution on small to medium complexity transactions
  • Provide support on complex transactions, contributing to synthesis, integration design, and risk framing
  • Connect due diligence findings to the deal thesis, helping leadership understand what is material and what requires a decision
  • Translate business requirements into integration and separation plans and track progress against milestones
  • Mobilize functional work streams across Finance, People, Legal, Tax, IT, and other areas, ensuring the right expertise is engaged at the right moment with shared deal context
  • Identify and clarify issues, risks, and opportunities, escalating as appropriate and driving urgency on deliverables
  • Build effective working partnerships across teams, clarifying roles and helping resolve cross-functional issues
  • Track integration progress and surface risks to the value the deal was intended to create
  • Document deal learnings and contribute to methodology and continuous practice improvement
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values

Strategic Working Relationships:

  • Line of business leaders and deal sponsors
  • Corporate Development team
  • Functional leaders across Finance, People, Legal, Tax, IT, and other areas

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of experience in strategy, business management, project management, business operations, financial planning and analysis, or a related field. M&A experience strongly preferred; an advanced degree in business or a related field is a benefit. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to connect functional findings to the deal thesis and frame issues clearly for senior stakeholders
  • Effectiveness driving multi-stakeholder programs to results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and communication skills across functions and levels
  • Able to make decisions within short time frames and with limited information
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
  • Detail-oriented, expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products
