Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Vaco is partnering with a dynamic, growth-oriented organization to identify a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This executive leadership role will serve as a key business partner to the CEO, Board of Directors, and private equity stakeholders, driving the company's financial strategy, operational performance, and long-term growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic financial leadership by developing and executing long-term financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and growth initiatives that align with overall business objectives.
- Partner with the CEO, executive leadership team, Board of Directors, and private equity sponsors to drive financial performance, support key decision-making, and maximize shareholder value.
- Lead all accounting, finance, treasury, FP&A, HR, and compliance functions while ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition performance management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required; CPA designation required.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience within finance and accounting, including executive-level responsibility.
- Demonstrated success serving as a Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, or in a comparable senior financial leadership role.
- Proven experience partnering with private equity-backed organizations, including driving value creation initiatives and supporting investor objectives.
- Extensive M&A experience, including financial due diligence, transaction execution, integration planning, and post-acquisition optimization.
- Deep expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance management.
- Track record of leading organizational growth, transformational initiatives, ERP implementations, and process improvement efforts that enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
Compensation: $250K-$275K with bonus
