Sr. Financial Systems Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite, 4 days/week)

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $100,000 to $110,000, based on experience

Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Systems to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and system troubleshooting, working closely with the accounting and IT teams. It's a strong fit for someone with solid financial analysis fundamentals who's comfortable with, or wants to grow into, the technical side of financial systems.

• Support and troubleshoot financial system interfaces (revenue, purchasing, credit card, cash)
• Partner with IT and finance teams on system enhancements, upgrades, and UAT
• Write SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting
• Build and publish financial and statistical reports
• Complete monthly audit analysis in support of SOX controls
• Serve as a go-to resource for financial systems configuration and process questions
• Collaborate with accounting and field controllership on reconciliations and process improvements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or financial systems
• Strong financial analysis fundamentals and comfort interpreting financial data
• Experience with an ERP system (Oracle preferred, other major ERPs considered) within a large organization
• Solid SQL skills and UAT experience for financial systems
• Strong Excel skills and a self-starter mindset
