Preferred & Small Business Banking (PSBB) serves business clients across a wide range of industries through relationship banking, treasury management, lending, and specialized solutions. Our team focuses on growing the small business segment and branch-adjacent verticals, enhancing client experiences across physical and digital channels, and improving banker productivity through strategic initiatives and operational  this paid internship, you’ll be empowered to work on challenging and complex issues in a collaborative environment with other talented interns.

Over the 10-week program, you’ll participate in business projects, mentoring, leadership development training and team-building activities designed to set you up for professional success. The summer Internship program runs June through August, with flexible dates available, based on school schedules. Interns who perform well and demonstrate a commitment to our values of integrity, creativity, teamwork, passion and excellence may be extended employment opportunities with Western Alliance Bank.

We're looking for individuals who are passionate and entrepreneurial, just like our clients. Specifically, we're looking for top-performers interested in pursuing careers in Commercial Banking.

What you'll need:

Undergraduate students currently enrolled in a related field of study.

GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.

Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.

An interest in working in the Commercial Business Banking industry.
