Position Title: Collector I

Location: 4605 East Elwood Street Phoenix, AZ 85040

Full time permanent

You will need to work in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week throughout training.

You must satisfactorily complete all training and pass the final training exam(s) with a minimum passing score of 80%.

Once training is complete, the role will require the following schedule, minimum 2-3 days in the office per week:

• Mon - Thursday: 11am-8pm MST
• Fridays: 9am-6pm MST
• Saturdays rotate approximately every third (depending on staffing levels) 7am-11am MST

As a Collections Team member, you’ll coordinate the activities of collecting delinquent payments for auto loan accounts from customers. The main function of a collector is to locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts to solicit payment. A typical collector is responsible for receiving payment, preparing statements to the credit department if the customer doesn’t respond, and keeping records of collection

Equipment will be provided to the candidate

Skills Required:

• Good analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
• Intermediate MS Office skills in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
