SummaryThe Federal & State Regulatory Senior Analyst / Consultant maintains the organization's ongoing relationships with regulatory commissions/authorities. Coordinates and conducts the assessment of internal controls to ensure compliance as required by regulatory commissions/authorities. Develops programs and processes to manage complaint cases brought to regulatory authorities and develops process improvements to avoid future complaints. Advances organization positions with internal and external parties.
Prepares and sponsors testimony to governmental or regulatory agencies.
Federal / State Regulatory Senior Analyst
- Bachelor's Degree
- And minimum 5 years' related regulatory compliance experience; utility-based experience preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 9 years is required.
- Advanced knowledge of federal and regional electric utility industry and associated regulatory / legislative issues and related compliance requirements.
Federal / State Regulatory Consultant
- Bachelor's Degree
- And a minimum 7 years' related regulatory compliance experience, including 2 years utility-based experience.
- In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 11 years is required.
- Broad and in-depth knowledge of federal and regional electric utility industry and associated regulatory / legislative issues and related compliance requirements.
This position may require access to and/or use of information subject to control under the Department of Energy's Part 810 Regulations (10 CFR Part 810), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730 through 774), or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M Part 120) (collectively, 'U.S. Export Control Laws'). Therefore, some positions may require applicants to be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. Citizen, a U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), a Political Asylee, or a Refugee under the U.S. Export Control Laws.
