Job Summary:

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry's (ADCRR) Office of Victim Services is seeking a Victim Services Administrator. This pivotal role will plan, direct, and oversee ADCRR's government funded victim service programs to ensure the delivery of trauma informed, equitable and legally compliant services. This role will be responsible for overseeing the program performance and outcomes, and supporting strategic initiatives to enhance services accessibility, accountability and effectiveness within the agency.

Job Duties:

* Oversees the planning, administration and fiscal management of programmatic grant funding

* Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state grant requirements, including preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical and performance reports

* Monitors adherence to victim rights laws and mandates, ensuring victims receive required notifications, opportunities for participations, and access to services in accordance with applicable statutes and regulations

* Oversees staff who support victims in participating in Parole and Clemency hearings at the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency

* Responsible for coordinating efforts with the Attorney General's Office Victim Services related to executions

* Provides guidance and supports victims, complies with statute and internal policies

Provides accompaniment to executions

* Represents Office of Victim Services (OVS) on various state, advisory committees and panels

* Participates in national training programs and conferences as needed

* Liaise with different internal departments regarding crime victims' issues and victims' rights

* Promotes staff development and training

* Conducts performance evaluations

* Promotes community education and outreach regarding post-conviction services to crime victims

* Oversees the Victim Offenders Dialogue Program which facilitates an in-person dialogue between victims and offenders

* Supervises certified staff involved in program delivery

* Drives on State business

* Other duties as assigned related to the position

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

* Interworkings of ADCRR, including process, polices and procedures

* Victim advocacy principles, State and Federal laws including Victim Rights laws

* Criminal Justice System

* Grant management

* Reporting and contrast compliance

Skill in:

* Computers use

* Effective communication

* Policy development and formal reporting

* Program planning and evaluation

Ability to:

* Interpret and apply laws, regulations and policies, maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement

* Collaborate with stakeholders, represent the agency in public meetings and governmental forums

* Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Selective Preference(s):

* Bachelors in Criminal Justice or related degree

* Five (5) years of increased supervisory and/or management experience in the field of Victim Services/Criminal Justice field

* Familiarity with writing and administrating state and federal grants
