AUDITOR GENERAL

The Arizona Auditor General serves as an independent source of impartial information concerning State and local governmental entities and provides specific recommendations to improve the operations of those entities. Financial Audit Intern

Key Responsibilities
  • Help conduct financial statement and compliance audits.
  • Learn and apply the AICPA’s generally accepted auditing standards, U.S. Government Auditing Standards, and other federal auditing requirements to our auditees. Qualifications
  • Be in your junior or senior year of your accounting bachelor’s degree program and have completed some upper division accounting classes or be in a master’s degree program.
  • Interest in public service and improving State government.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.

HOURS:

Flexible hours, 15-40 hours per week, to meet your school schedule.
