The pay range listed above reflects the FULL pay range for the position. ** Pre-Employment assessments:**$73,008 TO $102,960 ANNUALLY, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE**
* ** Laterals may earn up to $102,960 during their first year of employment, DOE**

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as a Deputy Sheriff. * Possess current/active AZ POST Certification.
* Or, have served as a certified peace officer in another state or federal agency

MCSO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE
* Maximum Reimbursement:
Not to exceed $7,500
* For successful candidates residing outside of Maricopa County
* Reimbursements shall only be made for expenses incurred by the employee and their spouse and legal dependents. Proof of marital and dependent status may be required.
* The County may, at its discretion, refuse to reimburse any moving expense for which the employee fails to provide appropriate documentation or that the County deems unreasonable. Compensation levels listed are based on candidates possessing a current Arizona POST certification. Out of state candidates may be able to waive a trainee academy through an Arizona POST waiver examination. However, if the waiver process is unsuccessful, candidates will be placed at the Trainee rate of $29.00
