The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $25.57 to $33.75.This position is Non-Exempt under the FLSA.

270 Juvenile Probation About the Position The Community Resource Coordinator provides coordination of services to children and families involved with Juvenile Probation, in collaboration with the court, contracted/community providers, and other agencies such as The Department of Child Safety and Arizona Health Care System (AHCCCS) to support youth in their efforts to be connected to the community, contributing members of society, and accountable for their behavior.

Position Qualifications We recognize your time is valuable, so please apply if you meet the following required qualifications :

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field

Other Requirements:

Valid Arizona Driver License and reliable personal transportation

Our Preferred Candidate Has:2-3 years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, or child welfare systems.

Experience working as a Probation Officer and/or Surveillance Officer.

Familiarity with the juvenile or adult court systems.

Experience with Phoenix area child welfare and mental health systems.

Ability to communicate in Spanish.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

Principles of team decision making and group facilitation.

Principles of human behavior and child development.

Public, private, and community organization resources for children and families.

The English language structure and content; including spelling, grammar and rules of composition.

Skill in:

Communicating verbally and in writing with others to convey information effectively.

Effective time management.

Ability to:

Learn the policies, procedures, and practices of Juvenile Court and child welfare.

Creative problem-solving skills and ability to “think outside the box.”Critically analyze situations and make sound decisions.

Make and maintain effective working relationships with other staff, agencies, and community resource providers.

Process and handle confidential information with discretion.

Work in a fast-paced environment.
