The Auditor 3 conducts complex auditing reviews for city, county, and state organizations under limited supervision of the Chief of Operations at the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission. The role involves examining financial records, contracts, and compliance documentation; preparing detailed audit reports; and advising on audit findings and corrective actions in accordance with generally-accepted auditing standards.
Key qualifications- At least two years' experience as an auditor or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or closely related field
- Knowledge of Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining to grant programs
- Thorough knowledge of auditing principles and government audit standards (GAAS and GAS)
- Oral and written communication skills
- Arizona Driver's License
