The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Auditor
3. Reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor, this position performs complex audits examining, investigating and reviewing records, reports, financial statements or business systems. With limited supervision the Auditor 3 will perform internal audits, and local board and employer audits.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance.

The Auditor 3 is responsible to:

• Plan, organize and conduct complex and/or sensitive audits as assigned with varying scopes to include multidisciplinary or multi-functional areas.
• Develop audit scopes, objectives and procedures in accordance with auditing standards.
• Collect, analyze and reach sound conclusions from interviews, records, data, observations and other audit procedures.
• Prepare concise, comprehensive, well-organized working papers to accurately and effectively communicate audit work, conclusions and recommendations.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports, including outlines, draft and final reports.
• Communicate effectively to obtain information and assist audited entities and/or individuals in understanding audit results and recommendations.
• Present audit results and recommendations to auditees and other stakeholders as required.
• Manage and track time to plan, organize and complete assigned audits efficiently withing allotted time frames.
• Drive to other locations to conduct audits and for training as required.
