Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Substance Abuse Counselor located in Phoenix, AZ. The Substance Abuse Counselor will be responsible for developing treatment plans, offering one-on-one and group counseling, managing cases, and supporting relapse prevention efforts. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, providing chemical dependency treatments, and addressing mental health concerns related to substance use disorders.
Qualifications- Skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management
- Experience with Chemical Dependency and Relapse Prevention techniques
- Understanding of Mental Health issues related to substance use
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment
