New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) who will serve as positive role models to support, guide, and empower youth, young adults, and adults. In this role, you will build lasting relationships, encourage positive behavior, and design skill-building activities that promote personal growth and emotional well-being.

NHCC provides outpatient services throughout the Valley, with locations in:
- Chandler
- Tempe
- Glendale
- Phoenix
- Casa Grande
Our Direct Services program supports clients from early childhood through adulthood. Services focus on individualized treatment goals, including:
- Family support
- Health & wellness
- Life skills development
- Emotion regulation
- Behavior modification
- Substance abuse support (when applicable)
Direct Service BHTs are an integral part of each client's treatment team, collaborating with therapists, case managers, probation officers, legal guardians, and other supports.

Services are delivered in both individual and group settings.
Our mentors and clinicians work closely with treatment teams and families to ensure coordinated, effective care that promotes lasting change.
Must Haves- Must meet minimum state licensing requirements for Behavioral Health Technicians or Para Professionals
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with at-risk or behavioral health populations (youth, teens, or adults)
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with no restrictions
- Must maintain a driving record that allows insurability under NHCC's insurance carriers
- Must complete Criminal History Self-Disclosure Affidavits
- Must obtain an Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Unrestricted Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (includes State and Federal background check)
$23.00 – $27.00 per hour
Compensation is based on education and experience in the behavioral health field.

All positions at NHCC are safety-sensitive as defined in ARS 23-439. The company strictly prohibits the use, sale, manufacture, distribution, or possession of alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, medical marijuana, or drug paraphernalia on company premises, company-owned vehicles, or personal vehicles used for company business or parked on company property. NHCC is a drug-free workplace with zero tolerance for violations.
