Initiate and monitor dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders, including blood flow and dialysate flow, and ultrafiltration goals.;
Evaluate vascular access for patency, perform cannulation, and administer heparin as delegated.;
Monitor patients during treatment, obtain vital signs and weight, assess intradialytic problems, and respond per physician orders.;
Document treatment data accurately on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and in the designated clinical application; ensure nursing signatures.;
Maintain infection control, prepare supplies, and assist in education and transition care as needed.
