We are seeking a Compounding Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations with a strong focus on non-sterile and/or sterile compounding in Phoenix, AZ. This role combines clinical oversight, prescription verification, and hands-on compounding in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Compound medications following established formulas and USP guidelines
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Oversee compounding processes including weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and pharmacy quality standards
- Maintain compounding records, formulations, and inventory controls
- Counsel patients and providers on compounded medications and usage
- Support technicians and compounding staff workflow
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacist license in good standing
- Pharm
D or BS in Pharmacy required - Compounding experience required (sterile and/or non-sterile)
- Knowledge of USP , , and standards preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
