We are hiring on behalf of a high-growth mail-order pharmacy platform expanding its national footprint.
The Pharmacy Licensing Specialist will serve as the operational backbone of multi-state expansion. This is a hands‑on, detail‑driven role responsible for managing the full licensing lifecycle across multiple pharmacy entities. You will ensure all facilities and registrations remain fully compliant as the organization scales from launch phase to national volume.
This position requires someone who thrives in regulatory environments, anticipates deadlines before they arise, and takes full ownership of compliance execution.
Core Responsibilities- Triple-Entity Oversight – Manage initial applications and renewals for multiple pharmacy entities across state boards and DEA registrations
- Launch Phase Execution – Ensure 100% compliance during facility opening and national scale‑up
- Administrative Leadership – Coordinate closely with the Pharmacist‑in‑Charge (PIC) and leadership team to streamline documentation and signatures
- Deadline Mastery – Maintain a proactive master compliance calendar, anticipating renewals 60–90 days in advance
- Board Liaison – Serve as the direct point of contact with State Boards of Pharmacy nationwide
- Experienced in multi‑state pharmacy licensing and regulatory processes
- Highly organized with exceptional documentation and tracking skills
- Comfortable navigating complex state board portals and DEA systems
- Thrive in high‑growth, fast‑paced startup environments
- Phoenix‑based preferred, though remote may be considered for highly experienced candidates
- Proven experience managing multi‑state pharmacy licensing and renewals
- Strong understanding of Board of Pharmacy and DEA registration requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and administrative coordination skills
- Ability to manage parallel compliance tracks without error
