Primary Care Medical Assistant

Full‑time contract opportunity with Yoh’s occupational health client located in Phoenix, AZ 85085. Contract until at least May but opportunity for temp‑to‑hire.

The clinic is located at a corporate office and offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees and their families ages 5+. Primarily back office responsibilities but must be comfortable helping out with front office. They see about 10-15 patients per day.

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA)
• Must be comfortable with blood draws/labs
• Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player
• Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee

• Room patients and vitals
• POC testing and immunizations/injections
• Assist with medical testing such as: EKGs, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, respiratory treatments, and urine collection/testing
• Maintain employee health records (using EPIC)
• Assist with physicals, sick visits, and well‑woman exams
• Medication reconciliation
• Assist with prior authorizations
• Support the nurses and providers with all aspects of the clinic

• Must be able to work Monday - Friday 7:15am to 4:00pm
• BLS/CPR certified (hands‑on courses only – strictly online not accepted)
• Yearly TB (PPD) or Quanti
  
  FERON Gold test
• Strong organizational skills and good at multi‑tasking
