The Creative Therapy Solution Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position upholds the culture and values of Creative Therapy Solution (CTS) through leadership. This position is responsible for providing behavior therapy to support and encourage growth and skill development, assisting in the delivery of behavioral and treatment goals to children with autism and other co‑occurring diagnoses. The role reports directly to the Clinical Director and is responsible for upholding the following metrics: driving the clinical progress of clients, driving adherence to BACB ethical guidelines, driving RBT productivity, driving service quality of all RBTs, obsessing over person‑centered treatment planning, obsessing over client dignity and advocacy, and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with client stakeholders.

Lead and manage a team that creates and delivers high‑quality, productive ABA services that are compassionate and values‑based.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administers, conducts, evaluates, and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures and functional assessment measures.
  • Develops individualized goals and objectives for programs and designs behavior‑support plans based on functional assessment data.
  • Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives.
  • Trains clinical staff on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Is responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision meetings with Registered Behavior Technicians.
  • Meets regularly with the Clinical Director and notifies her/him immediately of issues impacting client’s progress and satisfaction.
  • Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the Clinical Director.
  • Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to assigned KPI’s.

Fulfills responsibilities by demonstrating the following:

  • Supervises cases with appropriate frequency
    • Supervision summary notes completed.
  • Develops client goals
    • Align with assessment data.
    • Match items in documented reports.
  • Reviews data and monitors client progress weekly
    • Graphs up to date.
    • Targets/goals updated within a week of mastery.
  • Behavioral approach to intervention
    • ABC data for all problem behavior identified for reduction.
    • Functions identified.
    • Replacement behaviors identified.
  • Makes program updates as needed
    • Goals added and removed as data and ongoing assessment indicates.
  • Creates appropriate data sheets
    • Dimension being tracked is significant.
    • Type of data collection is feasible for employees.
    • Data is a reliable measure.
    • IOA done at onset of program to increase validity of data.
  • Provides parent/guardian guidance
    • Goals for parent/guardian are identified and quantified.
    • Use behavioral skills training protocol.
    • Written feedback notes.
  • Conducts assessments
    • At minimum the frequency required by case insurance.
    • Progress reports updated to reflect most current assessment and goal information.
  • Monitors registered behavior technician competencies and performance
    • Completes employee integrity checklists.
    • Other treatment integrity measures.
    • Provides training to employees to promote development.
    • Assesses employee skills and uses BST to train employees.
  • Seeks further training and participates in professional development
  • Interactions with co‑workers are professional and conducive to an ethical environment
    • Focus is on objective observations, identification of problem, positive actions to take to resolve issues.
    • Maintains professional and respectful boundaries in conversations.
    • Follows complaint policies when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Bachelor's Degree in behavioral health field required;
    Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health.
  • Must be Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certified.
