As a Prism Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering excellence while navigating the fast-paced, ever-evolving landscape of Medical Sales. Your work will directly enhance the client experience and ensure patients and providers receive the exceptional care and support they deserve.
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Elkin, North Carolina, PRISM is a nationwide provider of specialty home medical supplies with a core competency in advanced wound care products. PRISM serves a broad and loyal referral network of nationally affiliated and independently operated clinics, practices and clinics across multiple specialties. PRISM enjoys strong referral retention rates as well as high marks for customer satisfaction.
We continue to be a fast-growing home medical supply company that serves our community. PRISM is a trusted health care partner, delivering quality and reliable service for patients, medical facilities, and vendors nationwide. PRISM recently acquired ACENTUS, a technology-driven medical products company focused on providing vital medical supplies for patients living at home with chronic conditions. We are seeking an Account Manager to join our dynamic field sales team.
The Account Manager - Continuous Glucose Monitor's primary mission is to develop new and service existing patient referral sources for the diabetes product line, targeting endocrinology and large primary care practices within a strategic geographic territory. The role requires a self-motivated individual who thrives in a high-energy environment and seeks to learn. Knowledge of the medical supply industry and related technology platforms is not required, but a plus.
A Day in the Life of an Account Manager
- Market the Continuous Glucose Monitor unique patient supply service and proprietary technology to diabetes clinicians.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clinical care givers.
- Assist the referral network to stay apprised of new products and insurance coverage requirements.
- Perform group and individual presentations on product choices and qualification guidelines to referral sources.
- Achieve referral quotas and company objectives.
- Maintain compliance with all federal & state regulatory guidelines, accreditation standards and company policies.
- Communicate effectively and follow through on commitments and client needs.

Comprehensive Training Program
- Paid 1-Week Training program held at Prism's corporate office in Elkin, NC
- Complimentary accommodations are provided for the duration of the Training Program
- Upon completion of the Training Program, Account Managers begin managing a territory
Compensation Package
Account Managers are provided a base salary, a quarterly bonus and commission structure, plus an expense account package.
Performance Pay
Performance pay is based on the ability to grow business, order volumes, client relationships and meet additional territory goals. It includes the potential:

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration
- A proven track record of accomplishments and over achievement
- An outgoing, energetic, and pleasing personality with the demeanor and flexibility to communicate with patients, physicians, nurses, case managers and other professionals.
- Ability to handle fast paced environment and multitasking.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
