Are you Mammography Technologist that is open to working PRN for an established Cancer Center in the Phoenix, AZ area? Our facility is a top five cancer center in the nation that places patients and their well-being above all!
Schedule: ThisPRN role is as needed Mon-Fri (8am-4:40pm);
Estimated 30 shifts a year
Position overview: In the position you will be performing diagnostic and screening 8-12 patients daily. Must be able to perform all mammographic processes/procedures to comply with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). Obtains pertinent and thorough history from every patient regarding breast health issues and relays this information to the interpreting radiologist.
Must be able to perform and ensure performance of every MQSA requirement quality control/assurance test including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually. Acts as the assigned Quality Control/Quality Assurance technologist in accordance with MQSA and ACR Mammography Accreditation Program requirements. Knows how to respond to any necessary 'out-of- compliance' scores/levels and responds and reacts accordingly. Understands the importance of exceptional customer service.
Must be able to troubleshoot mammography equipment and processors. Must be registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. (ARRT) in Mammography
Job qualifications:
Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school
Licensure:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R)(M)
Registered by the Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE) in Radiography and Mammography
Certification:
Basic Life Support (CPR)
