Compounding Pharmacist

The Phoenix, AZ location is a fast‑paced compounding pharmacy with a dynamic and energetic team.

We are seeking a Pharmacist for our Closed Door Pharmacy. The pharmacist will use their skills and experience to uphold pharmacy standards for counseling, dispensing, record keeping, and quality assurance programs. Leadership is expected through coaching and mentoring of pharmacy team members.

• Review and interpret veterinarians’ orders to ensure appropriate dosing and to avoid interactions, incompatibilities, or toxic compounds.
• Dispense prescriptions to pets in accordance with policy, regulations, and laws; counsel pet owners about medications and maintain an accurate, up‑to‑date profile.
• Verify the work performed by support personnel, including compounding, repackaging, final quality assurance, and PV2.
• Work in spaces compliant with USP 795 and USP 800.
• Maintain focus on tasks and complete them efficiently.

• Veterinary compounding experience preferred.
• Experience with PCAB accreditation preferred.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and a current Arizona pharmacist license in good standing.
• Manual dexterity.
• Adequate vision for tasks assigned.
• Good hand‑eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
