Back Office Ophthalmic​/Retina Technician ON-SITE

We are a busy, well‑established retina practice with a solo physician seeking a motivated and reliable Back Office Technician to join our team. Experience in retina is strongly preferred, but candidates with ophthalmology experience and a willingness to learn are highly encouraged to apply. We are happy to train the right person.

• Full-time: ~40 hours per week
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (no nights or weekends)

• North Phoenix – 3 days/week

All staff rotate between both locations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Rooming and working up patients
• Retinal imaging and diagnostic testing
• Assisting the physician with in‑office procedures
• Scheduling surgeries and diagnostic imaging
• Appointment scheduling and phone support
• Patient check‑in and check‑out
• Ordering office supplies and supporting daily clinic operations
• Accurate documentation in EMR (experience preferred)

• Prior retina or ophthalmology experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent reliability
• Able to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical setting
• Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience a plus
• Willing and able to commute to both office locations
• Pay: Starting at $19/hour
