Pharmcare USA of Greater Phoenix LLC - Phoenix, AZ 85040.
Position Type:
Full Time.
Pay is commensurate with experience in LTC. Data entry experience is a plus.

Candidate must be certified as a pharmacy technician in the state of Arizona, and available to work full time, including weekends.
Responsibilities- Assist Pharmacist with input (when appropriate), filling and dispensing of all prescriptions.
- Perform all filling and / or IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and reasonable speed.
- Fill prescriptions per rules and regulations of all regulatory entities.
- Answer telephone calls, assist caller when appropriate, or enlist Pharmacist to assist if appropriate.
- Prepare medications to be delivered to facility per delivery schedule.
- Assist any walk-in customers or direct to appropriate department.
- Assist with ordering of medications from wholesaler along with proper inventory management.
- Assist with Medication Returns and E‑Kit management.
- Maintain Pharmacy Technician License/Certification.
- Will comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriate.

- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines and printers up to 100% of the time.
- Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person.
- Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others with or without correction.
- This position is very active and requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching and stooping.
- Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time.
- Must be able to tolerate normal office/pharmacy environment and exposure to various medications.
