Established Community Hospital – a nonprofit Critical Access Hospital with a Level IV Trauma Center, established in 1926.

Surprise, AZ (60 miles from downtown Phoenix).

Join the Surgical Services team as a primary first assist. Assist surgeons in the operating room with a strong focus on orthopedic cases. Provide pre‑ and post‑operative patient care in the Surgery Clinic, seeing new and established patients. The role involves clinical, procedural, and surgical responsibilities in a highly collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

• Assist surgeons in the OR, primarily for orthopedic cases.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative patient care in the Surgery Clinic.
• Manage patient assessments and follow‑up, both new and established patients.
• Perform clinical, procedural, and surgical tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with a team‑oriented surgical service staff.

• Board Certified Physician Assistant / PA credential.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a surgical first assist.
• Strong procedural knowledge in orthopedic surgery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
