Position Overview
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13‑week assignment starting July 20, 2026 in Phoenix, AZ.
ResponsibilitiesScreen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with speech and language disorders, including speech, language, cognitive‑communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders. Develop and execute specialized treatment programs, document patient progress, and demonstrate appropriate clinical competence for the patient’s age. Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive inpatient care.
Requirements- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
- Current licensure in Arizona.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or documented acceptance in a Clinical Fellowship Year.
- BLS certification.
- Strong interpersonal communication and human‑relation skills.
- Proficiency with computer software applications used in patient care.
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required and must be maintained throughout employment.

Direct patient care tasks, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and possibly lifting up to 75 pounds. Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, fine motor skills, proper body mechanics, and adherence to standard precautions.
